Ministry Areas Liberia Farmer 2 Farmer When the vision of the liberia farmer to farmer ministry began to take shape, our focus was to teach the men of harrisburg, liberia new ways to farm–to sow seeds. to provide opportunities for the women, we later had a vision to teach them to sew. the seed blossomed into the harrisburg women’s empowerment center, named in honor of dr. linda. A liberia farmer to farmer ministry committee emerged as part of the east ohio conference 3cs initiative that supported churches, classrooms, and clinics. the committee has expanded and is now part of the east ohio volunteers in mission. several mission teams have traveled to harrisburg to engage in a range of mission activities.

Working with small scale farmers. at the ‘farmers support center’, we provide small scale or family farmers with improved seeds and other inputs based, making these supplies accessible in rural liberia. in addition, our technicians provide up to date agricultural training to improve crops agronomic and improve harvests.
