The engine control module (ecm) is the computer that manages every system on the vehicle related to emissions. when something goes wrong, the ecm will hopefully record a diagnostic trouble code and turn on the check engine light. but the ecm (all by itself) can do nothing. it first must be programmed.

P0420 – catalyst system efficiency below threshold: this code suggests a problem with the catalytic converter, often due to issues with the exhaust system or a failing converter. u0100 – lost communication with ecm pcm “a”: this code points to a communication problem between various control modules in your vehicle. 1. check if you have enough oil in the engine (see how to check the oil level). low coolant level can cause problems too. 2. visually check if the battery terminals are tight and not too corroded (see the photo). loose battery terminals can cause the check engine light with 'low voltage' trouble codes. 3. My 'diagnostic info' shows nothing on any vehicle. just built up a brand new supercharged v8, having built several engines before, ignition on but no start. new starter, wiring, checked all connections and fluids, nothing. took out engine, completely stripped and built it again, installed it. same problem. completely stumped.

This would not only hopefully seal on its own, but also offset the entire heater outwards a few millimeters so that the o ring would now sit before the groove, so that in fact, it'd be the original o ring doing the sealing, as was originally intended. so basically two barriers, and the o ring should at least decrease the pressure on the gasket. Our obd2 scanners and other diagnostic tools also help you keep track of your previous vehicle repairs. next time your engine throws a code, turn to autozone for an easy to use code reader or diagnostic tool. a broken down car is nothing but a bummer even worse, waiting on a mechanic is also a pain. easily diagnose your car problem with code.
