Artstation Super Metroid Fan Art Dг Ontг Martin Metroid Samus Fan art recreation of metroid prime 2's gunship. modeled 2013 in 3dsmax, textured in mari. this was done as an exercise to learn the udim and mari workflow, and to texture a highpoly mesh. the mesh is using the double turbosmooth modifier workflow, and the basemesh is uved with udims. i no longer have mari so this is unlikely to ever get finished. i might bake it down to a lowpoly and texture. So every 2 years i do a piece of metroid fan art to track my progress and see improvement so this is my 2023 edition! will revisit samus in 2025 or maybe when a new metroid game comes out.
