Irvine Valley College Celebrates 30th Annual Commencement Ceremony Celebrate the class of 2023. thursday, may 25, 2023 at 5 pm ivc live oak terrace. about the commencement ceremony. commencement at irvine valley college (ivc) is a time of celebration, at which family and guests join our faculty and staff in recognizing the accomplishments of our graduating and certificated students. The following is required for all aa t or as t degrees: minimum of 60 csu transferable semester units. minimum grade point average (gpa) of at least 2.0 in all csu transferable coursework. while a minimum of 2.0 is required for admission, some majors may require a higher gpa. please consult with a counselor for more information. Graduation requirements. earning a certificate. waiver of certificate requirements, application for evaluation, certificates of achievement, certificates of proficiency, certificates of competency. earning an associate degree. associate in arts and associate in science degrees, associate in arts for transfer (aa t) or associate in science for. Scholarship requirement. maintain a minimum grade point average of 2.0 in all units attempted at irvine valley college and a combined 2.0 grade point average including all courses transferred to the college except basic skills courses. a grade of “a,” “b,” “c,” or “p” is required for all courses to be counted toward the major.
