However, in 2022, listeners finally have their next taste of the band’s sound, in the compact form of a 3 track ep, titled untethered. from the very get go, untethered seems to be a way to let fans know that they are ready to bounce back, and the sentiment that laces this ep is genuinely nice to hear. as somebody that had discovered them. Untethered is the heaviest record that dream state has designed, and it’s a sheer delight in the most unconventional way, binding heavy guitar riffs and ferocious vocal work. although there are only 3 songs, the ep packs an almighty punch in terms of musicality and lyrical adeptness. this band has the armoury of songs to put them up on a top.
