Started trying to play the game properly a couple of months ago, and finally got to a20, barely survived the first of the last bosses with ironclad but my deck wasn't broken enough to survive the second. i actually think if i picked up a single whirlwind id have got the win. any a20 ironclad tips appreciated!!.
My First A20 Heart Kill R Slaythespire Just got my first a20 heart kill! i decided it was finally time for me to take on going for heart kills on a20, and i've been attempting it the last week or two. and today i finally accomplished that feat on ironclad! this was a fun run. i knew it was gonna be a blessed one when i got scrap ooze on floor 2, and got question card first try. Act 3: prepare for act 4, remove useless cards, get keys imo act 3 is easier than act 1 2, because usually your deck is already working quite well. and the events are so good. this leaves some room for you to prepare for act 4. trim you deck, make sure you have your set up in play within 2 3 turns. Act 1. the first enemies have tiny hp pools and don't do much too much damage. all elites have low hp, but scale very quickly, so you need to kill them in very few turns. find any 2 3 damage cards asap, then a mix of good block and utility cards 2 3 more high quality damage cards.

Just fight the elites. because a run of slay the spire can take upwards of two hours on ascension 20, sometimes it's best to get strong or die trying. silent, on the current patch, is absolutely terrible at handling act 1 elites. her card strength is just a bit poor unless you luck out with a lucky neow reward.
