Kids 2 вђ River Oaks Church We help your pre k children begin building a spiritual foundation of truth by giving them engaging bible lessons in small groups where they can ask questions and learn more. through age appropriate activities and fun, interactive worship, we get them excited about jesus. River oaks church was transformed into a great jungle journey from june 24 28 and hosted over 100 school age kids for a wonderful week learning about creation, catastrophe, confusion, cross, and consummation! we would like to express huge thanks to all the adult and youth volunteers who made the week possible. At the same time, a multi ethnic church, oakville resurrection church, was planted in 1986 by pastor blake davidson. over the years, pastor blake and pastor paul would partner together in ministry. discovering a kindred spirit for the church and for the city, these two congregations amalgamated in 1996 under the name river oaks community church. Kid’s rocc is a fast paced, exciting, and fun learning environment designed for elementary aged kids that takes place in the gym during sunday morning worship services at 9:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. each week, children are taught the bible in creative ways that are age appropriate and relevant to their lives today.
