This lightning is actually made for my minor project, a piece of frame by frame animation. so it doesn't look the same as it in the show. but it recalls me the scene in the final agni kai, when azula says "you want lightning?. Foreshortening i think the main issues can be explained due to bad foreshortening, if zuko was pointing parallel to the screen then it makes sense for his arm to be that long (even then its slightly too long), but the picture implies that he’s pointing away from the screen at azula who is farther away. this creates the illusion of the arm.
