Out Foxed 1949 Out foxed is a 1949 droopy short directed by tex avery. one early morning in front of a kennel, the master does a roll call for his dogs and then offers a steak as a reward for catching a fox. as soon as the master fires his gun, the dogs run off but droopy walks slowly saying "you know what? haste makes waste." the fox that the dogs are after is a gentleman like fox named reginald. there are. At one point the urbane british fox reads a newspaper called fox news, a joke that only really makes sense in a modern context. tex avery produced so many gags that he stumbled upon the infinite monkey theorem and came relatively close to predicting 9 11. anyway, this short's fine. not my favorite droopy but it's still a droopy so it's a 10 10.
