Smite Paladins Devs Hi Rez Splitting Into Multiple Studios Rock That was whole smite 2 was in active dev. but a "next gen refresh" on ue4 wouldn't be nearly as expensive or require as much man power and lots of people know ue4. there's all types of tools and custom code and function that exists. then the game could truly allow for actual new types of content. trickle out done story missions, pve stuff. Paladins is easily the most unpolished and buggiest “competitive” game i have ever played, it has been in the most laughable state in the past 4 years (at least 3x worse than smite, it is bad) and despite the devs preaching every single day on social media and patch notes that bug fixing is their #1 upmost priority, the game still hasn’t. Free to play. our marketing department likes to say stuff like, “hi rez studios is an industry leading video game developer at the forefront of the free to play, games as a service model.”. but we’re just gamers, with passion and skill to make games that anyone can play regardless of income or platform. hi rezzers are fueled by our game. Magic meets team fortress 2 in a shooter that has ign's pc crew very, very excited.
