Scriptures June 2023 Jubilee Church Jesus himself is our jubilee. the connection between faith and freedom is what led me recently to journey to texas and learn more of the history of juneteenth on a personal level. the result is a. 11 the fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. 12 for it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields. 13 “ ‘in this year of jubilee everyone is to return to their own property. Today, this scripture is being fulfilled in your ears . . . (luke 4:17 19, 21). jubilee years since jesus' birth. below is a list of jubilees from jesus' time to the present. please note that each of these are also considered the first year in the count of the next seven year sabbatical cycle (appointed times of jesus the messiah, chapter 2. During the year of jubilee, bondservants would be freed from their debts and able to return to their own homes, free men. debts are forgiven. and this wouldn’t just happen in the year of jubilee.
