The Hammond Comics Blog Review Rough Riders 1 Once again my lcbs owner has talked me into purchasing and reviewing a comic book. rough riders #1 was featured and highly recommended by shawn, owner of comics cubed in kokomo, in. after finishing this jewel, my eyes are opened. this story of historical fiction blended with some steampunk qualities is something very special. Rough riders is another fine example of a quality comic as writer adam glass, artist patrick olliffe, and editor mike marts have created an adventure book that uses actual historical figures like teddy roosevelt, harry houdini, and more to stop the world’s evils.

Rough riders: ride or die #1 art by patrick olliffe and gabe eltaeb. the art is quite good too. patrick olliffe brings a similarly utilitarian approach to the framing and scenes.the characters are. The artwork in rough riders vol 1: give them hell is great too. the steam punk and sci fi elements of the story really fits in well with the rustic time period when this story takes place. everything gels together and doesn't look out of place. even the sci fi star trek elements work. i highly recommend reading rough riders vol 1: give them hell.
