Try This Wrapping Gifts With Fabric Lace A Beautiful Mess Tip #2: use straight pins to hold the lace in place. as you might imagine, tape doesn’t stick too well to lace. in fact, it really doesn’t stick at all. so i wouldn’t recommend using tape on the lace layer of wrapping. instead, where either side of the lace meets, use a straight pin to keep the fabric together until the bow is put into place. This small gift was the perfect place to use up my ribbon scraps! i made a plaid pattern by wrapping the ribbon over the top of the box and taping the ends together in the back. i topped it off with a pink tag and a large pom pom made with leftover yarn from my pom pom garland. check out this post to learn how to make large pom poms.

Fabric For Gift Wrapping Ideas Crafty For Home Starry night gift wrap. all you need is some starry paper, gold spray paint, and cuttings from the garden to create this festive effect. spray a few leaves or vines gold and glue them to the tops. Cut them into sections to use as pillow boxes for small gifts like jewelry and stocking stuffers. score each end of your cut roll in half circle shapes. next, place the gift inside the roll and push the ends in. tape the pillow box shut and embellish it with scraps of wrapping paper, pom poms, and string or washi tape. Place the gift in the center of the long sides but next to one long side. grab the long edge and wrap it around the gift. keep wrapping the fabric around the gift until all the fabric is wrapped around. tie a ribbon around the fabric right next to the gift on one side. tie a ribbon around the fabric right next to the gift on the remaining side. To make these tags, i simply printed 3×3 inch photos. i turned them black and white using a color story on my phone, airdropped them to my laptop, resized them to 3×3, and added them to 8.5×11 size new files and printed them on matte photo paper. then, i cut them out with scissors and left extra space on the bottom for handwriting.
